The Wraith is a 2-door luxury coupe which has been first launched back in 2013 as an effort from Rolls Royce to get more models into their roster. Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith is based on the same platform as the Ghost which in its turn it shares it with the BMW 7 Series. The car offers the usual Rolls-Royce styling while having a more powerful engine as well as slightly more aggressive suspension setting. This is because unlike with most other cars from the British car manufacturer, the Wraith is car intended to be driven by its customers.
Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith Price
Since 2013, it did not change all that much but in the meantime Rolls Royce released their Bespoke program which allows each individual to personalize its car to its own liking, adding features such as badges, different colors and even unique inserts on the interior. The base price for the Wraith starts at just over $300,000 while a Bespoke model could cost anything between $500,000 and a couple of million dollars. This is because they can use rare metals such as gold or platinum if the customer wants it. The delivery time for a custom model can range from a few months all the way up to a year or more, depending on how complex the design is.
Let’s take a look at the Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith which is such a model, a bespoke car built for Michael Fux and revealed a few weeks ago. The car comes with a unique exterior color and a very impressive interior which even though it is stock when it comes to the equipment offered, the color scheme is all new and thought completely by Mr. Fux. The car has a two-tonne color scheme which combines a turquoise shade on the lower part of the car with a high gloss white on the roof, hood and trunk. The wheels are also new and complete the design nicely while the usual Rolls-Royce emblem is now made out of a translucent material which lights up when the headlights are turned on.
Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Interior
Just as we previously mentioned, the interior of the Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith is even more impressive than the exterior. All the panels and instruments inside the cabin are now the same color shade, Aequus Green, a special type of green only available from Rolls Royce. The steering wheel, instrument cluster, the wood inserts and even the seats are all the same color. The center of the steering wheel, the buttons as well as the aluminum have been left untouched so the visual impact is great. Also, while it may seem a bit odd at first, the color scheme will start to make sense, especially with how the exterior of the car has been painted.
Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith Engine
Under the hood of the Rolls Royce Jade Pearl Wraith there is the same engine as before which is to be expected from a Bespoke model. It is a 6.6 liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine which has been first developed by BMW. It can make up to 623 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque which is right up there with some of the most powerful high speed GT cars in the World. The gearbox is a ZF 8 speed automatic which sends all of the power to the rear wheels. Even though it weighs more than 5,400 pounds, it will accelerate to 60 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds and it will hit around 180 MPH or more which is more than enough considering what it is, a high performance luxury coupe which despite having only two doors, it can carry with ease four adults and their luggage in perfect comfort over a vast amount of distance.
